In response to a number of frustrated E-FORUM readers who tried to use the new Crime Review program described in the City Managers’ Weekly Report, Chief Magnus reports that apparently there was an internal misunderstanding to the readiness of Crimeview for a public launch. The program is not ready yet for citizens to use, but it will be available within the next several weeks.  The City is still ironing out a few last minute bugs, and the connection that allows for public access to current data is not actually enabled yet.

Once the program is ready to go, it will be rolled out in a very public way (it's going to be a great resource for residents!) and attach the link to our RPD Webpage.  The RPD will also be doing several training sessions with neighborhood and other civic groups to help people become familiar with the program.
