Contra Costa Health Services is sponsoring a Forum for West County leaders and elected officials to learn about emerging best practices and policies. This is an opportunity not to be missed if you serve on the Richmond General Plan Advisory Committee, Richmond Design Review Board, Richmond Planning Commission or Richmond City Council – or if you just care about making your community healthier. Jackson, MD, MPH, former California State Health Officer, former Center for Disease Control National Center for Environmental Health, co-author of “Urban Sprawl and Public Health,” and currently Professor, Environmental Health & City and Regional Planning at U.C. Berkeley.
