New Rosie the Riveter Apparel Features Famous Richmond Landmarks

Just in time for your Christmas shopping, the Rosie the Riveter Trust Web Store has a new line of apparel with a selection of distinctive and iconic artwork by Richmond artist Bette Tarr featuring Richmond landmarks in Richmond’s Rosie the Riveter WW II Home Front National Historical Park, including the Whirley Crane and Red Oak Victory, the Ford Assembly Building, the Shipyard 3 General Warehouse and “Climbing the Crane.”

Images of the ubiquitous historical “Rosie the Riveter” poster have been around for years, but this is the first time that Richmond-specific images have been offered for sale. The Rosie the Riveter Trust Web Store is the only source of Rosie the Riveter and World War II products officially licensed by the Rosie the Riveter Trust, and these unique images cannot be purchased anywhere else.

Be the first on your block to proudly wear one of these new shirts, and support Richmond’s national park while you are doing it. Buy a dozen as gifts to friends and family. Rosie the Riveter Trust is the official non-profit partner of the National Park Service for Rosie the Riveter WW II Home Front National Historical Park, and proceeds from the sale of items in the Rosie the Riveter Trust Web Store are used for projects and programs to support Rosie the Riveter WW II Home Front National Historical Park.

Did you know that you can also order from the Web Store the historical film of Richmond during the war years, “Birth of Victory?”
