Participate Planning the Future of Richmond's National Park
October 24, 2004

The National Park Service is gearing up to roll out its alternative master plans for public scrutiny and comment in November. The Rosie the Riveter World War II/Home Front National Historical Park has to complete the major hurdle of a Congress approved General Master Plan before full funding can open up. Richmond residents, as well as anyone else, are urged to participate in review and comment of the General Master Plan alternatives and to attend a series of local meetings beginning in November.

General Management Plan Public Meetings: Public meetings to gather input on the park's future will be held the week of November 29th, 2004 - exact dates, times and locations to be announced soon.
