The Red Oak Victory was built in Richmond some 60 years ago and is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is part of the Rosie the Riveter World War II Home Front National Historical Park. It is undergoing restoration at the foot of Dornan Drive (out through the Point Richmond tunnel and past Miller-Knox Regional Shoreline). It’s a great place to visit and to take kids.
