The Richmond Progressive Alliance announced a second Community Forum, at which Dennis Kucinich will appear as a speaker. The Forum is hosted by The Richmond Progressive Alliance (RPA), “a coalition of progressive Democrats, Greens, and Independents.” It will be an opportunity for residents to engage in a dialogue on issues affecting Richmond and the nation, such as the economy, industrial pollution, environmental racism, energy sustainability, globalization, the war in Iraq, police/community relations, the Patriot Act, and more.

Presentations by local speakers will include community leaders and activists Fred Jackson and Cesar Cruz and the Richmond Progressive Alliance candidates for Richmond City Council Gayle McLaughlin and Andres Soto. Introduction by Van Jones of the Ella Baker Center for Human Rights.
