The Contra Costa Commission for Women annually inducts seven women into the Women’s Hall of Fame, established by the Board of Supervisors, in the following categories:

• Leadership
• Community
• Justice
• Environment
• Health Care
• Arts
• Technology

Last year, Lisa Viani was honored in the environment category for her work in creek restoration.
