LUCRETIA EDWARDS is an active member of the Richmond community where she has lived since 1948. She is dedicated to making sure there are generous parks with beautiful views of the Bay, and access to the marsh areas for the public to enjoy. She was a founder of the Contra Costa Shoreline Parks Committee. When the committee started 30 years ago, there was 30 feet of public access to Richmondís 32 miles of shoreline. Today, there are 3,000 acres of shoreline parks in Richmond.

Various elected officials, city dignitaries and community advocates will join Ms. EDWARDS in this wonderful tribute to her tireless efforts on behalf of all citizens of Richmond.
