The Richmond Tennis Association's (RTA) top rated Women's (4.0) team won the East Bay Championship on July 31st in a playoff match against the team from The Claremont Resort and Spa. 

Last weekend, to top that off, our team, led by Captain Jorge Salinas, Co-Captain Jon Sutinen and ably assisted by dynamo Flor Salinas and the never-say-die 4.0 Women players won the Finals of the USTA NORCAL Sectionals event in Elk Grove. Over the long weekend, the team was undefeated in five matches, culminated by today's Finals win against the previously undefeated team from SF Bay Club and earned the Northern California Championship!. 

Now our team moves on to the 2022 USTA League National Championships which will be held in October in Phoenix, Az. We are very proud to be able to represent Richmond in this prestigious national tournament!!
