Richmond Shoreline BioBlitz on July 1

You are invited to join Wholly H2O, California Academy of Sciences and The Watershed Project for a fun half-day BioBlitz at Point Pinole Regional Shoreline on Saturday, July 1 from 10 AM to 2 PM. This is an opportunity to enjoy being a citizen scientist through simple observation and photo documentation. A BioBlitz focuses on finding and identifying as many species as possible in a specific area over a short period of time. Count oysters in their beds. Observe and photograph birds, bugs, plants, aquatic life. Help do water quality testing. Observations will be added to the project Richmond CA Watershed on iNaturalist.org. With enough participants, they also will BioBlitz Wildcat Marsh Loop Trail, just 7 minutes south. Both areas are walkable and bikeable. Register for your free tickets, More info will be provided upon registration.
