  Volunteer to Help Maintain East Brother Lighthouse This Summer

If you are looking for that unique volunteer experience, there is no other place like East Brother Lighthouse. Our next Wickie Work Party is Saturday June 14, 2014(“Wickie” is a nickname for a lighthouse keeper). To sign up as a volunteer, visit http://www.ebls.org/volunteering.html. Or email our volunteer coordinator at eblsvolunteer@gmail.com. You will meet the boat at Point San Pablo Yacht Harbor (end of Stenmark – formerly Western – Drive. Take the last exit going west across the Richmond San Rafael Bridge) at 9:15 AM.

Our normal Wickie Workday's are scheduled for the second weekend of the month.  Please mark your calendar for the next 2 work parties, July 12, 2014, and Aug 9, 2014. Please join us for a wonderful day at the Light House.  We hope to have a work party with between 12-15 people to support keeping the Light House in good repair and presentable for our guests.

The purpose of this Wickie Workday will be to contiune interior painting, weeding all around the lighthouse, scrapping and repainting the windows on the Fog Horn Building, just to name a few task.
