The Green Screen Crew: Groundwork’s Hometown Richmond Green Team is a partnership with the City of Richmond’s YouthWORKS program and the National Park Service’s Rosie the Riveter National Homefront Historical Park.
Local young people affiliated with YouthWORKS receive academic support there, and participate in environmental education and service‐learning projects organized by “Rosie” and Groundwork. You’ll see Green Team members talking to neighbors, helping to plant trees, and creating a vision for our Richmond Greenway site.

Groundwork Richmond works closely with Earth Team’s Green Screen Crew and Husser Education Consulting to complete environmental improvement projects, and create videos and comic books that illustrate our work on the Richmond Greenway and in the community. The Green Screen Crew is working on a video on tree‐planting throughout Richmond, and will soon be getting started on an art project at our Greenway site near Carlson/Ohio. All of the videos and comics you see on these pages were created by the Green Screen Crew with leadership from Lana Husser.
