Good afternoon Supporters and Friends of Zhoushan,

As part of the Richmond Sister City Program, the City of Richmond will host 13 delegates from the Zhoushan People’s Congress of China  Tuesday, May 14th to Wednesday, May 15th.  The purpose of the visit is to celebrate the 20-year anniversary of the Richmond Zhoushan Sister City relationship. Our two cities established a Mutual Agreement, and for twenty years have worked to carry out the articles of the agreement including cultural, educational, health and human services and business exchange.

We would like to invite you to a presentation by the Zhoushan People’s Congress on Wednesday in the Richmond City Council Chamber, 440 Civic Center Plaza at 2:30pm. Public Officials from Zhoushan will present information on the Richmond-Zhoushan Sister City relationship, tourism and business opportunities in Zhoushan.

Whether you are a founding member, public official or commissioner, many of you have been involved in this program since its inception and we hope that you will be able to join us for this special presentation.
