I have gotten quite a few emails pointing out that the boundaries of the BID described in the Contra Costa Times article “Business improvement district approved for Richmond's re-emerging downtown” are erroneous. Actually, they are just incomplete.

The Contra Costa Times stated “The new district is bound by Sixth Street, Barrett Avenue, Nevin Avenue and Harbour Way.”

In addition to the bli\ocks described in the Times article the district includes:

Parcels within the blocks bounded by 7th Street, Nevin Avenue, Marina Way and Macdonald Avenue;

Commercial parcels at the corner of marina Way and Nevin Avenue;

Commercial parcels at the corner of Marina Way and Nevin Avenue;

Commercial parcels between along Macdonald Avenue between 15th Street and the BART tracks, and parcel #540-480-135; and

Commercial parcels within the blocks bound by 8th Street, Macdonald Avenue, 16th Street and Bissell Avenue.
