Loni Hancock
stands up for West County:
She authored legislation to help keep the doors of Doctors Medical Center open.
Her bill allowed Richmond to avoid bankruptcy and work towards achieving its present day financial stability.
She fought for legislation to reduce the interest on West Contra Costa Unified School District's loan from the state.
The District is celebrating the final payment of the loan.
