The City of Richmond Planning and Building Services Department has prepared a Final Environmental Impact Report (the “Final EIR”) for environmental review of the Point Molate Mixed-Use Tribal Destination Resort and Casino Project in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act (“CEQA”) of 1970, as amended, and the City of Richmond’s Guidelines and Procedures for Implementation of CEQA.  The Final EIR provides responses to all substantive comments received on the Draft EIS/EIR for the Proposed Project.  The response to comments provided therein, along with the revised Final EIR text, will be considered by the City prior to rendering a decision concerning adoption of the Proposed Project or an alternative.  The Final EIR, dated February 2011, can be viewed at http://www.pointmolateeis-eir.com/.

The Notice of Intent to consider certification of the Final EIR is provided as an attachment to this email and provides the date and location for the Study Session and Special City Council meeting being held to consider certification of the Final EIR.
