  • Nat Bates for Mayor Campaign will kick off Saturday, September 4, 2010 at his Headquarters, 3101 MacDonald Avenue, Richmond. The event starts at 1:00 PM where supporters can pick up window and yard signs and volunteer for work in the campaign. The web site www.NatBatesforMayor.com will also be launched. 
  • Jim Rogers for Re-election campaign kickoff will be September 13, 5:50 PM to 7:30 PM at his home, 550 Casey (nearest cross street – Bishop) in Point Richmond. All are invited.

 

  • “Election Preview,” a voter education series organized by the League of Women Voters of Diablo Valley, the Contra Costa Times, and Contra Costa Television (CCTV) will air on KCRT Channel 28 during October and early November. Moderated by the Contra Costa Times’ Political Editor, Lisa Vorderbrueggen, “Election Preview” consists of candidate roundtable discussions for the races on the November ballot.  Playback schedules of the discussions on the various public access channels are compiled by CCTV and promoted in the Contra Costa Times.  Videos of the taped discussions will also be available on the Contra Costa Times website at www.contracostatimes.com next week. The air times are as follows:
