POINT RICHMOND — The annual holiday train layout at the Golden State Model Railroad Museum is running and open to the public from noon to 5 p.m. each weekend in December.

Admission when trains are running is $4 adults, $2 seniors and children under 12, $9 families. The museum, at 900-A Dornan Drive in Point Richmond, also is open to visitors on Wednesdays, when admission is free, but the trains will not be running.

A special theme day Dec. 27 will feature trains not usually seen in California.
