You are cordially invited to join the volunteers and crew of the  SS Red Oak Victory at its annual celebration of Veteran's Day, Tuesday, November 11, 2008, 1 until 4 p.m.

·         Boarding commences with 1 p.m. Cargo Handling Demonstration

·         Tea Dancing and Wine/Cheese Buffet 2 p.m.

·         Memorial Service  3 p.m.

·         Laying of Flowers on the Bay and Disembark the Ship 4 p.m.

·         Boarding Fee $10  (Please join us.  No Reservations Required)

This event has become a tradition, being held on board the Red Oak for the last 10 years.  We think that no more appropriate place exists in the East Bay for the observance of Veteran's Day than our ship, the last of the 747 built in Richmond during the Second World War.
