News Conference on May 5 Parchester Village Chemical Release

 WHAT:       A presentation by Contra Costa Health Services and other agencies about response to the May 5 chemical release in Parchester Village. 

 WHEN:       12:00 Noon, Saturday, May 10 at the Parchester Village Neighborhood Association meeting

  WHERE:      Parchester Village Community Center, 900 Williams Street, Richmond, 94806

 WHO:        Participants in the presentation may include the Office of County Supervisor John Gioia, Contra Costa Health Services’ Hazardous Materials

            Division, Office of the Sheriff, City of Richmond and East Bay Regional Parks District.

 WHY:        The presentation will address how federal, state and local agencies responded to the release, how the County’s Community Warning System was used

            to notify residents in the area, and how the release was cleaned up.
