PBS Documentary Featuring Richmond

Supervisor John Gioia invites you to a sneak preview of a PBS documentary about how race and socioeconomic status contribute to unequal health outcomes in the United States.  This is an issue we need to address head-on.

The episode we will show highlights Richmond, California.

Contra Costa County's Health Department has an initiative to reduce health disparities in our county and is seeking public involvement.  We will have a brief discussion about this issue after the 30 minute film.  Please join us for this important discussion.
