KyotoUSA conducted a successful volunteer effort on February 16 to pull broom, ice plant, and Cape Ivy. Although small in number, they hauled out an incredible amount of bio-mass. As you will see from the photos, the broom removal has opened up another big section of the Trail. Thanks to Bruce and Kevin from the East Bay Regional Parks for their support in tools and greenwaste dumpster (and free drinks at Mud Puppies!)
