Festival Excitement

Are you excited yet about the Home Front Festival?  We are and we want to share that excitement with you.  So here is information about more of the events of the Festival weekend – Sept. 29 and 30 – and a great big thank you to our sponsors (so far).  And, oh, yes, directions on how you, too, can be a festival sponsor.

Sponsor, volunteer, and one more opportunity to get in on the action:  place an ad in the custom publication celebrating the Festival and the launching of the Rosie the Riveter National Historical Park. Bay Area News Group will deliver 125,000 copies of this collector’s quality publication on Friday, September 21, to readers of the West County Times and Hills weekly newspapers, and to selected non-subscriber Richmond zip codes. Copies will also be available at the Festival. More about ads in the tab.

On the evening of September 28^th, there will be gala fundraiser dinner for Rosie the Riveter Trust in the newly rehabilitated Craneway of the Ford assembly Building, the first ever event to be held there. The “Think Big" — a Kaiser Exhibit,” will be on display for the first time in Richmond. It will be held at the edge of the Bay in the dramatic, glass-enclosed Craneway of the historic waterfront Ford Assembly Building, where tanks were outfitted for World War II.

If you or your business would like to attend the gala dinner and help support Rosie the Riveter Trust, contact the following for tickets or table sponsorships for “Launching of Rosie the Riveter” at the future site of the National Park Service’s Visitor Education Center by being a sponsor. Your generosity will be recognized in the program.
