  Red Oak Victory and Shipyard Activities in April

The Red Oak Victory is in an exciting new location at historic shipyard 3, which has never before been open to the public. There are two events this month of note:

  • Sunday, April 10, 9 AM to 1 PM - Pancake breakfast on the SS Red Oak Victory Ship. A hearty breakfast is a cheap 6 bucks and children under 5 FREE ! ! ! Come on down and see the NEW HOME of the Red Oak
  • The Richmond Museum of History presents The Art of the Launch, an exhibition of graphic art programs, photographs memorabilia and lore, a tribute to the elaborate preparation and ceremony that attended the launching of the 747 ships built at the Kaiser Shipyards in Richmond during WW II. The Reception in Sunday, April 24, 2:00 to 5:00 PM, Seaver Gallery, Richmond Museum of History, 400 Nevin Avenue, Richmond. Members $5.0; Non-members $7.50. For information call 510/235-7387.
