The Richmond Museum of History celebrates its 50th anniversary this fall kicked off today with an afternoon event at Veteran’s Hall. For additional information visit the website at http://www.richmondmuseumofhistory.org/.

Sunday, October 24, 2:00 PM: Celebration of the Museum’s 50th Anniversary.
Join us for an early dinner. Music by the LMP Trio.
Historical Fashion Show and Historical Displays.

$35 per person.

Saturday, November 6, 2004, 2:00 PM - Re-enactment of the launching of the Red Oak.
The Richmond Museum of History cordially invites you to attend the re-enactment of the Launching of the Permanente Metals Corporation's Five Hundred and fifty-eighth ship, the S.S. Red Oak Victory, originally launched at Yard #1 on November 9, 1944.
Place: Terminal #1, 1500 Dornan Drive
