DEWITT GALLERY AND FRAMING

 

Gift giving season is drawing near and at DeWitt Gallery and Framing there are several artists showing with "Something small for your wall"

 

  • Jim DeWitt-World renowned Maritime Artist and Point Richmond resident! Jim's painting a lot more than sailing these days! Come take a look!....
  • Mimi Wirth-Grew up in Point Richmond and even went to Washington school!  she now resides in Southern California and visits the Point regularly. A resume' and some of her works are on display at De Witt Gallery. Scenes of Brickyard cove as well as Portraits and landscapes.
  • Steve Lynch-Framer at DeWitt Gallery & Framing and Point Richmond resident, Steve has a collection on display of his Lead Canvas series.  Steve works with found objects and uses symbolism in his pieces. A resume' and statement are available at the Gallery.
  • Dimitri Kourouniotis-Born in Athens, Greece. Currently living in San Francisco, Dimitri has a collection of Oil paintings. Beautiful Still lifes with flowers and fruit!

  • Charlotte Shroyer-from Taos, New Mexico residing here in the Point now...Charlotte paints in Oil on canvas and Masonite. An artist statement and resume' are available at the Gallery.
  • Gary Becker-I once worked with Gary at Safeway and now we find ourselves together again in the Art world!  His Wife Pat works at Interactive Resources next door. Gary's work is colorful and whimsical!  Gary also writes some very moving poetry and we have some of his Poetry books here at the Gallery!

ANNUAL HOLIDAY ARTS FESTIVAL

 

The Richmond Art Center will host its Annual Holiday Arts Festival” on Sunday, December 7, 2003, 12noon - 5:00pm, at the Richmond Art Center, 2540 Barrett Avenue, Civic Center. This year’s event will feature fine art and handmade crafts by more than 300 Bay Area emerging and established artists. Patrons can preview and place early bids on auction artwork on November 26, 28, 29 and December 3-6. Free admission to all events. BABES IN TOYLAND, A MUSICAL FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY

THE CITY OF RICHMOND will hold its 6th ANNUAL SENIOR WINTER BALL on Saturday December 13, 2003 from 7:00 to 11:00 P.M. in the RICHMOND MEMORIAL AUDITORIUM, 26TH Street and Nevin Avenue. The Ball is Co-sponsored by the Richmond Commission on Aging and the Recreation and Parks Department.  Our business community, labor unions and the City of Richmond, support this not for profit event, making the cost of admission a very affordable $10.00 per person.
