Organized by the North Richmond Shoreline Open Space Alliance

A forum to inspire and educate about opportunities for open space along the North Richmond shore.   Can our shoreline be preserved and restored as a community and a regional resource?

Featuring speakers on the history and ecology of the North Richmond Shoreline, and on planning for future development.  Lunch and discussion, and a chance to ask questions and learn how you can be involved.

THE NORTH RICHMOND OPEN SPACE ALLIANCE is a coalition of community and regional groups advocating for environmental justice planning principles and open space preservation along the North Richmond waterfront.

DIRECTIONS:  Take the Richmond Parkway (connects to both I-80 and I-580).  Exit the parkway at Giant Highway.   Stay on Giant Highway as it turns and becomes Giant Road.  Follow Giant across the railroad tracks and into Parchester Village.  Turn left on Williams Dr. and follow it about 2 blocks to the community center.   There will be signs along Giant that point towards Parchester and Pt.
