Christmas Eve Opportunities - Christmas Eve In The Point
December 22, 2002

If you are looking for a really upbeat Christmas Eve activity to get in the spirit, try the First United Methodist Church Christmas Eve Jazz Service (an annual favorite), featuring the Dan Damon Trio.  See http://www.pointrichmond.com/methodist/home.htm. This historical Church, Richmond's oldest at 101 years, is located at 201 Martina Street (corner of Martina Street and West Richmond Avenue -- two blocks west of the Fire Station) in Point Richmond. The service begins at 7:00 PM, giving you time for activities with family and Friends afterwards - or maybe a holiday libation or dinner at one of the local restaurants.

If you are more of a night owl, or want to have dinner first, Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church next door (301 West Richmond Avenue) has a musical program at 11:30 PM followed by Midnight Mass.

All are welcome.
