| First Annual Point Richmond
Music Festival March 12, 2002 |

The Point Richmond Stroll is Thursday, May
16, 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Chuck and Melanie Wise at the Baltic are
considering starting the First Annual Point Richmond Music Festival to
follow the stroll. There would be entertainment Thursday night, Friday
night, and then continuing on through Saturday and Sunday afternoons and
evenings. The owners of Baltic Square are considering making the
courtyard/parking area behind the new Baltic Square building available
for the outdoor concerts, which would supplement the Baltic and its new
deck. A committee is being assembled to further refine the festival, and the first meeting has been set for Monday evening, March 25, 7:00 PM at Interactive Resources Conference Room, 117 Park Place. Richmond. Every type of music would be represented, hopefully featuring a good representation of local Richmond and West County talent. If you would like to participate in planning, organizing, and putting on this festival, please plan to attend the kickoff meeting. If you cannot come but want to be involved, then get back to me with whatever potential involvement or suggestions you have. If you can suggest any talent that may want to participate, let us know.
